I masked a rectangle with washi tape and used Distress Ink (Salty Ocean) to create an ombre effect. Then I stamped a spaceship from MFT stamp set Out of this World, colored it with Stabilo markers, cut it out and adhered it with foam tape. As a final touch I added some sparkly stars and stamped the sentiment.
I decided to go with pink: I stamped the solid layer with ink (Pale Blush Ink from Simon Says Stamp), added another layer with VersaMark ink and drew stems and leaves with VersaMarker pen. The stamp set is Sketched Blooms (MFT).
I masked three rectangles with washi tape and used Distress Inks (Seedles Preserves, Fired Brick and Salty Ocean) plus few drops of water. I stamped a flower in each rectangle (MFT stamp set Sketched Blooms) and added stems with my black pen.
I have to admit, I'm watching a lot of art journaling videos lately, so this is where the inspiration for this card came from.
The background was set by Task for Two Tuesday: Ombre-Background, so I played with watercolors and added some white and black splashes. Then I cut some wonky circles out of design paper and did some doodling with black and white pen.
For this slider card I used MFT Polynesian Paradise stamp set, I colored the girl with colored pencils, glitter gel pen and Stabilo markers. The background is made with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean and Brushed Corduroy), for extra texture I used plastic food wrap.
For the Day 2 of Camp Create I used the stamp set Out of This World again. This time I did some embossing (VersaMark ink + WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder) together with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Seedles Preserves and Black Soot).
Again, I used a flyer and primed it with gesso. I chose blue and green acrylic paints for the background and spread it with a plastic card. The stencil is from Kreul and is called "A, B, C", it's self-adhesive and reusable. I added some white splashes here and there. The final touch was using Distress Ink (Black Soot) with a potatoe mesh bag as a stencil, love it:-)
This stamp set from Stampers Anonymous is just awesome:-)
I colored the image with colored pencils and added the balloon and party hat from another stamp set (Silly Monsters Incognito Two from Your Next Stamp). For the hat I used glitter gel pens, for the balloon Glitter-Deco pen. Plus some confetti doodling:-)
This is my first junk art journal page, inspired by Kim Dellow.
I used a flyer and primed the page with gesso (I have one from Lukas in OBI). Then it was time to play with acrylic paints, finger painting is fun!:-) After all was dry I drew some roses and leaves with permanent marker (Staedtler Lumocolor).
I'm sending this card in a little coffee package to a friend.
I colored with Stabilo markers, Wink of Stella and gel pens. For the background I used Distress Ink (Brushed Corduroy) for splashes and coffee stain circles (done with toilet paper roll). The sentiment is printed and hopes, that the recipient will enjoy his coffee.
I used a stencil for speech bubbles and played with watercolor pencils, some Distress Inks and Wink of Stella. I stamped the chameleon (MFT Polynesian Paradise) and doodled the branch, borders and other details with black glitter gel pen.
First I drew a postage stamp and used it as a stencil and a mask for the bear to create a background with Distress Ink: Brushed Corduroy. I colored the image with colored pencils and with neon gel pen, added a heart and a blacked embossed sentiment.
A perfect opportunity for this cute freebie digital stamp from From the Heart Stamps. I used colored pencils for this little guy and glitter deco tube for the heart. As for the background, I played with Distress Ink (Fired Brick) and washi tape and then I cut out the shape of an egg to create Easter tag:-)
For this card I was inspired by a project I made a while ago: a little owl from felt.
So I cut the card base and decided to use some design paper from my stash, for details I used white gel pen, white colored pencil and Glossy Accents on beak and eyes (a flower stamp was used for them:-)).
I have a few sheets of stickers in my stash which I usually use to close and embellish envelopes, but today I decided to use them to create a little scene for a slider card, a fun challenge at Task for Two Tuesday.
The background was made with Distress Inks (Brushed Corduroy and Salty Ocean) plus I drew the border (to look like an old page) and the path to the treasure with Stabilo marker. The slider element was easy to cut even with my poor craft knife skills:-)
For this cute digital stamp from From The Heart Stamps I used colored pencils and a gel pen for stitching. Then I played with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean and Seedless Preserves) and embelished those two stripes with punched snowflakes. I "stitched" the stripes with white gel pen on my card base.
Schorschi is a gorgeous digital stamp from Birka and it´s a freebie! And perfect for sending lots of love. I colored him with colored pencils and gave him a frame full of hearts plus one big behind him. For the background I used watercolor, some splashes and glitter gel pen. Sentiment is from MFT Out of This World stamp set.
